For his part, Esteban Lazo explained the actions that the parliamentary commissions will develop in support of the government's plans, contributing to the measures adopted through their advisory activities to the National Assembly and the Council of State, as well as through the system of popular power.
Subsequently, the members of the Council of State adopted the decrees “On Cuban Sign Language” and “On the closure of the National Institute of Social Security”.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DELEGATES TO HIS ELECTORS
“Accounting is a highly political, democratic, participatory and unique process; an essential pillar of the Cuban political system; in which the people, from their own small homeland, in the neighborhood and the community, participate actively and directly as true protagonists in the administration of the State and the Government,” said Esteban Lazo, explaining this important exercise.
The Secretary of the Council of State, Homero Acosta Álvarez, announced that more than 65,000 accountability sessions are expected to be held throughout Cuba. At the same time, he explained the measures provided for in the Guidelines Program and the Schedule at the national, provincial and municipal levels for the effective development of this process.
