Wanted man in custody after being shot and gassed from Lubbock motel room

  • Around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, authorities responded to the Days Inn near I-27 and Avenue Q.
  • 39-year-old Felix Delarosa barricaded himself in a room and began shooting a gun.

No injuries reported in train derailment in Bailey County

  • Authorities responded to a train derailment around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
  • Bailey County Sheriff Richard Willis said no one was injured and the cargo containers were empty.
