Metallica announce 2025 tour dates with Pantera, Limp Bizkit and more

Metallica has announced that its “M72” world tour will enter its third year and will include 21 shows in North America in April, May and June 2025.

Two-night tickets for the newly announced “No Repeat Weekends” and tickets for the individual engagements will go on sale on September 27th at 10 a.m. local time. Presales for fan clubs will begin on September 23rd at 10 a.m. local time.

Since opening in Amsterdam in April 2023, Metallica has played in front of 3 million fans on the tour, according to the announcement, and will conclude their 2024 tour with four nights at the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City, where Metallica will play in front of more than 250,000 fans over the course of two “No Repeat Weekends.”

The M72 World Tour's 2025 itinerary will continue the hallowed “No Repeat Weekend” tradition, with completely different setlists and support lineups appearing on each night of the two shows.

The North American leg of M72 in 2025 will be produced by Live Nation and presented by new sponsor inKind.

Citi is the official card of the M72 Tour. Citi cardholders have access to advance ticket sales through the Citi Entertainment program beginning at 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, September 24 through 10:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, September 26.

Verizon is offering an exclusive presale for the M72 tour in the U.S. through Verizon Access, for customers only. Tickets go on sale through Verizon Access for select shows on Tuesday, September 24th at 10 a.m. local time and end on Thursday, September 26th at 10 p.m. local time.

As always, a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will go to local charities through the band's All Within My Hands foundation. All Within My Hands was founded in 2017 to give back to the communities that have supported Metallica over the years. To date, over $15 million has been raised, including $8.2 million in grants for career and technical education programs, including the groundbreaking Metallica Scholars Initiative, now in its sixth year. Over $3.6 million has been allocated to combat food insecurity, and more than $3.5 million has been allocated to disaster relief.
