An altercation between a student and a staff member at Lincoln High School has led to the arrest of a 17-year-old girl, the Leon County Sheriff's Office said.

Parts of the fight, which broke out around 12:30 p.m. during lunchtime on Wednesday, were recorded by several students and shared on social media by concerned parents.

The teenager was charged with attempted robbery and assault on a school official, both felonies.

Leon County School District officials said the altercation began after a student attacked a supervisor in the hallway and took her cell phone.
