Argument with tram leads to stabbing, two arrests in the old town

Two men were arrested after an argument led to a stabbing in the old town.

According to Onscene.Media, the incident began with an argument between three men on a tram that ended in a fight when the three got off at the Old Town subway station.

One of the two suspects is said to have stabbed the victim during the altercation, then ran down Congress Street and threw the knife into the bushes.

Witnesses identified the two suspects to police officers who were already in the area.

San Diego police said they were able to track down and arrest the two suspects and recover the knife, which still had fresh blood on it.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for his injuries. Police say the injuries are not life-threatening.
