Eau Claire business owner accused of sexual assault sentenced to probation

EAU CLAIRE COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) – An Eau Claire business owner accused of sexually assaulting several customers during cosmetic services has been sentenced to probation.

Online court records dated September 19, 2024 show Christopher Devlin, 41, of Altoona, owner of Renew Aesthetics in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, plead guilty to two counts of sexual intercourse and one count of bail jumping. The court accepts the pleas and finds Devlin guilty.

Court records also show that one count of second-degree sexual assault/violence and one count of intimate sexual exploitation were dismissed immediately. All other charges were dismissed and read aloud.

Devlin is sentenced to three years probation and is prohibited from performing any cosmetic consultations, treatments, procedures or surgeries.
