Maren Morris and ex-husband Ryan Hurd meet in the middle.

The former couple, who finalized their divorce in January, posed for a selfie in the “My Church” singer's Instagram story on Sept. 18, hinting at their son's future sports career. Hayes4.

Maren, 34, wore tortoiseshell sunglasses and a green striped top, while Ryan, 37, wore a beige T-shirt. In reference to the tennis icon Roger FedererMaren captioned the photo “Parents of a future Federer”.

The ex-partners met in 2013 while writing songs for Tim McGraw and made their relationship official two years later. They married in March 2018 before separating in October 2023 after over five years of marriage.

“This is kind of a new thing for me,” Maren told E! News about their split in February. “I think I've just learned in the last year that you're in the longest relationship of your life and there's nothing wrong with taking care of it and nurturing yourself and taking care of yourself.”

Months later, Maren came out as bisexual in a social media post. “I'm happy to be the B in LGBTQ+,” the singer wrote on Instagram in June. “Happy Pride.”

She later explained that the songwriting process inspired her to be open about her sexuality.

“I've never had the courage to say this before, and I've known that for decades. But I think it was just the right time: I'm able to say this without being misunderstood, and it's Pride Month,” she said.
