Worcester man charged with firing air pistol in aggression driving incident

MILLBURY – A Worcester man appeared in District Court Thursday afternoon accused of firing a pellet gun at another motorist during a DUI incident.

Daniel Ochoa, 39, of Catherine Street was arrested in Millbury. He is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

According to court documents, he pleaded not guilty and bail was set at $1,000 or $10,000 surety.

The indictment contains the following description of the incident and the arrest:

State police were directed to be on the lookout for a red Honda Civic around 7 a.m. Thursday. Millbury police reported that the driver displayed a handgun and fired shots at another motorist traveling south on Route 146 in Millbury.
