Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura recently confirmed to ScreenRant that there are already plans for a Transformers One Prequel. “First of all, if we are successful with this film, we will make a sequel,” he revealed to the site. “And we already have, I think, the beginnings of a really interesting story for the second part, which is also based on the characters, just like the first [is].”

The probability of a continuation depends on Transformers One is Box office success. The film is currently aiming to gross $30-40 million in its opening weekend. So far, the animated film has received positive reviews and has an 89% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
