It was a premiere, but also a look back into the past.

Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers scored a touchdown pass as a member of the home team at MetLife Stadium.

After his injury problems in 2023, it has been a long time coming for the quarterback.

In this game, he reconnected with his former Green Bay Packers teammate Allen Lazard, who has already scored three touchdowns this year.

The play took place in the red zone, a quick pass to Lazard on the left side. A quick move by the receiver was all that was needed.

Check out the score below that gave the Jets a 7-0 lead in the first quarter:
