New court documents describe fatal incident of driving aggression in Spokane Valley

According to new court documents, investigators seized the suspect's phone and found several videos showing him committing the crime.

SPOKANE VALLEY, Washington – A man accused of killing a man while driving while rage-stricken appeared in court Thursday afternoon.

Marc Rinard is accused of stopping next to the victim's car, screaming and then shooting into the car, killing a man.

According to new court documents, investigators seized Rinard's phone and found several videos of him practicing committing the crime.

According to court documents, the video shows the interior of his pickup truck and a tracking shot out the driver's side window just before the gunshots are heard. It is not clear when the videos were taken.

Rinard was arrested for second-degree murder, drive-by shooting, and first-degree assault. Rinard's bail is set at $5 million.

According to the Washington State Department of Health, Rinard is a trained nurse, but his nursing license has since been revoked.

According to the Washington State Department of Health, Marc Rinard is barred from working as a nurse in Washington State while further legal action is pending. The Department of Health said Rinard has 20 days from the date of suspension to appeal the action.

According to court documents, Rinard has worked as a nurse for 14 years.
