A multi-vehicle accident leads to the closure of the eastbound lanes of SR-202

MESA, Arizona – An accident on eastbound SR-202, known as the Santan Freeway, has brought traffic to a standstill on Power Road.

The accident involved multiple vehicles. ADOT officials said there is no estimated time when the lanes will reopen.

It is not known how many people were injured, if any, or how severe their injuries were.
