Nikki Glaser expresses “sincere gratitude” to Taylor Swift at the MTV VMAs

Comedian Nikki Glaser made a surprising revelation about being a Swiftie, supporting both Taylor Swift's career and her relationship with football player Travis Kelce.

Accordingly US weekly newspaperSwift publicly praised Kelce when she won Video of the Year at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.

Regarding Glaser, she told the broadcaster exclusively at the BAFTA North America TV Tea: “We expected her to say his name and the word 'boyfriend' next to it.”

Furthermore, she explained, “It didn't surprise me because… it wasn't just that she was able to say his name and squeeze it into the speech. It really seemed like it came from a place of genuine gratitude, like, 'Wow, you made making this video so much fun with your enthusiasm throughout the video.'”

In addition, the comedian added: “Perhaps this is something she has never experienced before and she noticed that after each take, someone applauded and kept the morale of the team up.”

Additionally, Nikki enthusiastically confessed, “The art we get from our girl after she met him is incredible. She seems to be having so much fun and that's all we want from her. So, I loved the mention. I thought it was so genuine and so sweet.”

It is important to note that Swift and Kelce have been together since the summer of 2023 and are often seen cheering each other on during their biggest successes. The Grammy winner is also a fixture at Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs Football games during the 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 NFL seasons.
