Man allegedly stalked a University of Utah student and entered the apartment of two other people

SALT LAKE CITY – An arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of breaking into the off-campus apartment of three University of Utah students and then stalking one of the women on campus.

Oluwatobi Oludaisi Shokunbi was charged on Thursday with stalking, indecency and trespassing after she entered the homes of two other women in Salt Lake City without being invited.

Shokunbi has yet to be taken into custody.

According to the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office's indictment, Shokunbi, also known as “King Rocky,” entered the students' home on September 4 and asked for one of the women by name while being confronted by another woman before leaving.

Following the incident, the students showed the police a surveillance video of the encounter.

A week later, Shokunbi approached the student at a TRAX station. Three days after that encounter, on September 14, the student was working on a project in Kahlert Village, an on-campus dormitory, when she recognized Shokunbi, who was being escorted off campus by university police.

Following the incident, Shokunbi was taken to the Salt Lake County Jail and later released.

The separate charges of indecency and trespassing were brought against Shokunbi for an incident allegedly occurring on September 7 in which he entered the apartment of two other women and opened the bedroom door of one of them, saying, “I am looking for a beautiful woman.”

Earlier that day, police were called to the apartment complex after a witness reported seeing Shokunbi standing naked in a common room. He was also arrested at the time and later released.
