Loris Cabirou led the final two practice sessions of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Thursday, beating Ryan Norman by just 0.008 seconds in a session marked by several red flag interruptions.

The ANSA Motorsports driver set his new best lap time of 1:25.516 early in the session in the No. 30 Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, which he shares with Bryson Morris.

His time held up despite numerous challenges from Norman's Wayne Taylor Racing and Andretti-driven Danny Formal.

Scott Huffaker was third fastest in the No. 22 WorldSpeed Lamborghini, despite triggering the first of two red flags with a collision at Turn 4 earlier in the session.

ANSA's Nico Jamin set the fourth fastest time of the session before his teammate Kiko Porto landed in the run-off area of Turn 4 and received his second red card.

The top five were completed by the Pro-Am entry No. 66 from Forty7 Motorsports with Joel Miller.

Cole Kleck was once again the fastest in the amateur class and Rocky T. Bolduc had a clear lead over his competitors in the LB Cup.

The exit from Turn 6 proved problematic for many drivers as they increased their pace in the second practice session. Race control issued 24 cautions regarding track limits and penalties for corner violations during the 45-minute session.

Qualifying is scheduled to begin tomorrow morning at 10:20 a.m. EDT, with Race 1 starting later this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. EDT and broadcast live on Peacock and IMSA.tv.
