Hopefully this clears things up for everyone

The theatrics of the hard count on fourth down are predictable and telling. The more adjustments and cues are made, the more obvious it is that the offense has no intention of snapping the ball at all. How funny would it be if the coach, with all the theatrics, instituted a “go” hard count and then actually snapped the ball when the play clock was at one or exactly zero.

Brilliant if it works. Bullshit if it doesn't. Either way, it's a bit too daring for my taste.

What type of non-contact injury is most common among football players?

Based on the extent alone, it has to be the hamstrings.

I really appreciate the comments from Jake from Decatur, GA. Too often we hear people lamenting missed opportunities that could have benefited their team while completely ignoring the opponent's missed opportunities. It's great to analyze a team's potential when they can iron out some of their mistakes, but it's dishonest to ignore that both sides will always make mistakes they would rather not have made in a game. I love that II always stays realistic.

“Action” penalties, as I call them, will happen. Teams will unfairly get flags for holding and hardening the passer. The key is to keep the technique as clean as possible and avoid pre-snap/concentration penalties. False starts, delays of game, offsides and illegal lineups are the NFL's version of “death by a thousand cuts”… and we're not talking about the paper form here.

Jaire Alexander's cheer (and high school graduation in general) is a seatbelt for “Strap City,” right? No sword? Thanks.

The other way around… it's a sword. Ja said that himself a few years ago.

Wes has listed the 16 players with ties to the Packers who are eligible for HOF consideration. Which of them have a chance of making it into the 15 finalists? The only ones I see are probably Robinson and Saturday, mainly because of the work they did before joining the Packers late in their careers.

Jahri Evans was already a finalist, although the Packers wouldn't count him toward their HOF numbers if he makes it. As far as the Packers' careers go, it's going to be an uphill battle. As a side note, I'm surprised Clay Matthews III wasn't nominated. I understand fans are involved, but there has to be a safeguard for that. Matthews has a better NFL resume than many of the 167 nominees.

Hi Wes, unless I missed it, we never found out if you went to the Alabama vs. Wisconsin game last Saturday. Inquisitive minds (me) want to know. Thanks!

I drove to Madison and enjoyed a nice meal with my friend and former Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel writer Michael Cohen, who now covers the Big Ten for Fox Sports. I had my mind set on Wisconsin/Alabama and ended up saving my money. I checked out the Dane County Farmers Market for the first time with a close friend, the award-winning Tessa Ruid. I also met a kind Inbox reader who sold me some delicious Snug Haven grapes. I made it safely back to Green Bay in time for the Counting Crows concert. It was a great weekend.

In 2017 we were invited to a wedding in Austin, Texas. The groom was a family friend and the bride was Bill Callahan's daughter and Brian Callahan's sister. My friends and I had a long chat with Bill and shook Brian's hand. Very nice family. From what I understand, Bill coaches his son's offensive line.

You understand correctly… and congratulations to the beautiful couple.

I asked the question about the video error on the website just three weeks ago and now you finally answer the question!

That's a strange way to say thank you.

“We are aware of the video bug and our app developers are working on a fix.” What do developers call the person they call to investigate the app program? Magnum API. Sorry, you opened the door.

And now I'm telling you right in front of your nose.

How ironic that Craig Counsell's team loses and the Brewers win the NL Central championship. Karma at its finest. GBG!

I know enough about karma not to giggle here. I want the Brewers to play into October.

When did Wes become such a comedian? His comment about Josh Myers throwing up about how you never know what to expect was classic! He could probably quit his job and go on the big stage! Plus, I love his commentary and question and answer format. It's the BEST Packer coverage compared to anyone else and I read all kinds of stuff about the Packers. So keep up the good work Wes.

I'm sure there are a lot of people who wish I would quit my job. Oh, and try the veal. Happy Thursday, guys.
