NYT “Connections” September 20: Clues and answers for game #467

It’s Friday – time to relax with the latest Connections Puzzle.

The New York Times The game has been a huge success since its launch in June 2023 and is the newspaper’s second most played word puzzle after Wordle.

In an interview with Newsweek Beginning of the year Connections Developers and NYT Crossword editor Wyna Liu reflected on the success.

“The response has been really incredible and overwhelming and unexpected,” she said in June. “It's exciting that something that's very close to my heart is resonating with people.”

The answers for Friday Connections The puzzle will be revealed at the end of this article, so if you want to solve it yourself, don't scroll too far.

How to play “Connections”

If you're new to Connections, you'll quickly understand the rules of the game. At the start, players are given a set of 16 words and must divide these words into four groups of four words each based on similar characteristics or themes. The difficulty categories vary – purple is the hardest, followed by blue, green, and yellow, which is considered the easiest.

For example, in Thursday's puzzle, one of the categories was “PBS broadcasts” and the words associated with that category were “Frontline,” “Masterpiece,” “Nature” And “nova.” This was a blue category.

If your four chosen words are correct, they will flash the color of the category difficulty and disappear from the board. However, if they are incorrect, they will remain on the grid.

Although players are not limited by a time limit, they only have four attempts, so think carefully before clicking “Submit.” If you're having trouble and need help playing, you can always click the “Random Shuffle” button.
