SAPD: Two dead in apparent murder-suicide near Balcones Heights

The two people, who police said were a married couple, were found lying in bed with gunshot wounds.

SAN ANTONIO – Two people were found dead in a neighborhood near Balcones Heights on Thursday afternoon in what appears to be a murder-suicide.

Officers responded to the 200 block of One Oak Drive, near Loop 410 and Babcock, around 4:15 p.m. The two people, who police said were a married couple, were found lying in bed with gunshot wounds.

Police identified the two people as Manuel Limon, 63, and Azucena Limon, 64. According to a preliminary report, Manuel Limon shot his wife with a shotgun while she was lying in bed. Police said he then lay down next to her and shot himself with the same gun.

Their bodies were found by their adult son, who had come to visit for his mother's birthday, the report said.
