Every year, 300,000 families around the world hear the words: Your child has cancer. In the United States, more than 40 children are diagnosed with cancer every day, and cancer remains the leading cause of death from disease.

But people across the country are joining forces to help these children, led by retired NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon and his foundation.

In fact, over the past 18 years, nearly 80,000 of you have joined the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation, raising more than $16 million through the Corvette for a Cure program alone.

This year's prize is a 2024 Corvette Stingray Z51 3LT Convertible with a list price of $100,435. Features include a 6.2-liter V8 engine with 495 horsepower, 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, Sea Wolf Gray paint with Carbon Flash and Jet Black accents, Jet Black interior with red stitching and seatbelts, black forged aluminum wheels, Carbon Flash Power Retractable Hardtop with Carbon Flash nacelles, and Corvette Racing Jake logo accents.

The car also features magnetic selective chassis control, a front lift, a sports exhaust, a Z51 sports suspension, sports brakes, a Z51 rear spoiler, a high-performance cooling system and an electronic limited-slip differential, as well as a Performance Data Recorder, Bose Performance Series audio and GT2 seats.

The car is a great prize, and potentially winning is a great incentive to donate. But at the end of the day, it's about more than just the car. Corvette For A Cure is about – among other things – raising funds and supporting pediatric cancer research so that more kids can spend their childhoods smiling and laughing instead of battling cancer. Especially if they're laughing while telling Jeff Gordon to get out of the way so they can drive his Corvette.

Visit corvetteforacure.org to purchase your tickets now because, as Gordon points out, “Your donations fund innovations that improve quality of life, treatment programs that increase the chance of survival, and medical research dedicated to finding a cure for children with cancer in your community and communities around the world. We can’t do this without you.”

There are only five days left to register, with the deadline being September 25th. The winner will be selected live during the Corvette For A Cure Celebration on Monday, November 18th at Hendrick Motorsports in Charlotte, NC.
