Demi Lovato shows off engagement ring and reveals details of her wedding plans while promoting a documentary about a child star

Demi Lovato presented her engagement ring and revealed details of her wedding plans during an appearance on the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday.

The 32-year-old singer wore a brown long-sleeved plaid top and matching skirt and was congratulated by 50-year-old Jimmy on her December engagement to 33-year-old Jordan “Jutes” Lutes.

Demi beamed and raised her left hand, revealing her sparkling engagement ring as the audience erupted in applause.

“Thank you,” said Demi. “Thank you so much.”

“You're both talented musicians. Have you thought about the wedding and the music you'll play?” asked Jimmy.

“Yes,” Demi replied. “We've been planning the wedding for a while. We got engaged in December and met with a wedding planner about a month later.”

Demi said she wanted to “be ahead of it” and had thought about it a lot because she didn't want to be stressed.

Their conversation was interrupted when a few cupcake crumbs dripped from Jimmy's face after he was surprised with a barrage of cupcakes for his 50th birthday.

“Are you going to perform at your wedding?” asked Jimmy.

“I’m not,” replied the Grammy nominee.

“Okay, that’s too much stress,” said Jimmy.

“I want it to not feel like work at all,” Demi said.

Demi was on the NBC talk show to promote her directorial debut, Child Star, which she directed and co-produced with Nicola Marsh.

The 32-year-old singer was seen with Jordan in Los Angeles earlier this month

“I want this not to feel like work,” Demi said when she announced that she will not sing at her own wedding.

Demi and Jimmy also played a silly game on the NBC talk show

The documentary about the rise of child stars in the entertainment industry features Disney Channel star Demi, Christina Ricci, Drew Barrymore, JoJo Siwa, Kenan Thompson and others.

The single “You'll Be OK, Kid” was released to promote the film and Demi said on the talk show that writing the song was therapeutic.

Demi also played a silly “Face It Challenge” game with Jimmy where they made funny faces at each other.

Child Star was released on Tuesday on the streaming service Hulu.
