Threat against the Lampeter-Strasburg School District in Lancaster County

Police are investigating a threat made against a Lancaster County school district Thursday evening. West Lampeter Police and the Lampeter-Strasburg School District are aware of the TikTok threat that was circulating Thursday evening. West Lampeter Township Police were able to identify and locate a juvenile responsible for the threat. It was determined to be a prank and not a credible threat. Additionally, it was determined that the juvenile does not have immediate access to weapons. The suspect's name cannot be released because the suspect is a minor. The investigation is ongoing and charges will be filed against the juvenile responsible. An email from the Lampeter-Strasburg School District to students and families regarding Friday's school day will be coming soon.

Police are investigating a threat made against a Lancaster County school district Thursday evening.

West Lampeter Police and the Lampeter-Strasburg School District are aware of the TikTok threat circulating Thursday evening.

Police in the Township of West Lampeter were able to identify and locate a youth responsible for the threat.

It was determined that it was a prank and not a credible threat.

It was also determined that the youth did not have immediate access to weapons.

The name of the suspect cannot be disclosed because he is a minor.

The investigation is ongoing and charges will be brought against the youth responsible.

Students and families will soon receive an email from the Lampeter Strasburg School District with information about Friday's school day.
