Alliance Police Respond to Shooting Incident at Alliance High School Football Game – KCSR/KBPY

On September 19, 2024, at approximately 9:15 p.m., Alliance Police responded to a report of a firearm at the Alliance High School football game. School Resource Officer Sherlock was alerted by Alliance Dispatcher Angel Trejo, who reported that a student in the stands of the stadium was in possession of a firearm.

SRO Sherlock immediately located the subject in the upper left area of ​​the bleachers. During the arrest, a black handgun fell from the suspect's waistband. The weapon was recovered without incident with the assistance of Middle School Assistant Principal Chris Seebohm. The weapon was later identified as a black .177 Daisy Powerline CO2 pistol.

The juvenile was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Alliance Police Department for case processing.

No injuries were reported and the situation was quickly resolved to ensure the safety of all participants.

Alliance Police commend the quick action of those who reported the situation and would like to remind the public that their vigilance plays a critical role in maintaining a safe community.

The name of the teenager was not disclosed for privacy reasons during the ongoing investigation.
