Meth, cocaine and fentanyl seized during arrest of suspected drug dealer in Cañon City

CAÑON CITY, Colo. (KKTV) – A man is facing a long list of charges after he was arrested in Cañon City and numerous drugs were seized.

Cañon City Police report they conducted a traffic stop on Saturday in the 2000 block of Fremont Drive. The area is located in the middle of town, just north of Highway 50.

“During the traffic stop, officers discovered clearly visible narcotics in the vehicle,” police posted on social media. “The driver was detained while the vehicle was searched, where additional narcotics were found.”

Police report that the following items were confiscated:

-241.1 grams of meth

-3.1 grams of crack cocaine

-3.3 grams of suspected fentanyl tablets

-$988 cash

The driver, 54-year-old Jeffery Tomlinson of Florence, was arrested on several drug charges, including possession of meth with intent to resell.
