Supervision required at Dent Schoolhouse after nearby shooting

As the haunted Dent Schoolhouse attraction reopens for the first time since the shooting last Saturday, new changes are taking effect. Green Township police announced they will increase patrols along Harrison Avenue, where the shooting erupted during the events. No one was injured. The suspects have been identified, but there have been no arrests so far. Additional police officers will be added to the number of officers already on duty at the haunted house. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has off-duty officers inside and Green Township has the outside area – all paid for by Dent Schoolhouse. Additional officers will be assigned to outside operations. Meanwhile, anyone under 15 will need a chaperone who is at least 21 years old. The adult chaperone must bring and show an ID with a date of birth to enter the premises. The policy allows one chaperone for every five or fewer guests who are 15 or younger, per night. Guests 16 years of age or older may be asked to present a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, national identity card or passport. If the guest cannot provide proof of age, they may be refused entry. Guests under the age of 15 found unaccompanied may be ejected from the premises.
