Israel investigates incident in which soldiers threw bodies from rooftops in West Bank

The Israel Defense Forces told Fox News Digital that they are investigating an incident in which soldiers were filmed apparently heaving lifeless bodies from a roof during a military operation in the West Bank.

The scenes are said to have taken place on Thursday in the town of Qabatiya, where Israeli forces said they “eliminated four terrorists in an exchange of fire.”

“This is a serious incident that is not consistent with the IDF's values and expectations of IDF soldiers,” military agency Fox News Digital said in a statement. “The incident is being investigated.”

In a video of the incident, according to the Associated Press, three soldiers can be seen picking up what appears to be a stiff body and dragging it to the edge of the roof while soldiers stand on the ground below. The soldiers on the roof look over the edge before lifting the body down.
