PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State Cougar football team will be in action Friday for the first time since its thrilling Apple Cup victory over the University of Washington.

Friday's clash will be the Cougs' first game in 2024 against a Mountain West Conference opponent.

Friday's game between the two schools will mark the 14th time the teams have faced each other. The Cougs have an overall record of 8-4-1 against the Spartans, with the last game being a 31-0 win by WSU in 2018.
