New Orleans Police Department seeks man accused of stealing backflow preventer

New Orleans police need help identifying a suspect wanted for a theft in Central City on Sunday, Sept. 15. Police say that on the 15th at approximately 3:30 p.m., a man entered the property of an apartment building in the 2200 block of Carondelet Street and stole a backflow preventer from the building's water system. Anyone with information about the crime or the suspect's identity is asked to call Sixth Precinct Detectives at 504-658-6060 or call Crimestoppers anonymously at 504-822-1111.
