Accident in Swan Creek Township on Friday evening

FULTON COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio – According to the Fulton County Sheriff's Office, a two-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Friday, September 20, at the intersection of US-20A and County Road 3 in Swan Creek Township.

According to a sheriff's report, a 31-year-old Bowling Green man was driving a black Chevy Suburban north on County Road 3 when he failed to yield to oncoming traffic at a stop sign.

Investigators say that after entering the intersection, the SUV collided with an eastbound maroon Honda motorcycle driven by 30-year-old Michael Lech of Delta, Ohio.

According to authorities, Lech was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the SUV was not injured in the accident.

The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the accident. They say alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

It is not known whether charges have already been filed against the driver.
