Anthony Ramos stars in Kathryn Bigelow’s next film

EXCLUSIVE: Anthony Ramos has joined the cast of Kathryn Bigelow's next film at Netflix. The untitled thriller also stars Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Jared Harris, Greta Lee, Tracy Letts, Moses Ingram and Gabriel Basso. Bigelow will direct.

Netflix did not comment on the casting.

The film's title and plot are still under wraps, but sources have told Deadline that the movie will be set in the White House as a national crisis unfolds. The project is Bigelow's first feature film since the 2017 thriller. Detroitan award-winning film produced and distributed by Annapurna Pictures.

Ramos comes from the blockbuster hit Twisters, where he plays alongside Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones. He will next be seen in the Marvel series Heart of iron. Other recent credits include Stupid money And Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

He is represented by CAA, Door 24, Laffitte Management Group and attorney Erik Hyman of Paul Hastings.
