According to the National Hurricane Center's 5 a.m. Monday update, Tropical Depression Gordon is located 1,020 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands and has maximum sustained winds of 30 mph. It is moving west at 8 mph.

“Little changes in strength are expected over the next few days, but Gordon could become a post-tropical remnant low at any time,” the meteorologists wrote.

Yesterday, Gordon reached a new low in intensity and was downgraded from a tropical storm to a tropical depression.
