Two women arrested at Little League football game

PORT ST. JOE, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Two women were arrested after what Port St. Joe police called “embarrassing and inexcusable conduct” at a Little League football game on Saturday.

Police said the encounter occurred at a Gene Raffield football game.

They said Alison H. Price and Mary Book allegedly fought and shouted insults and obscenities at each other.

We're told both Price and Book were arrested and taken to the Gulf County Jail.

Port St. Joe Police added, “The morals and ideals of youth football extend far beyond the boundaries of sport every day. Youth sports is a program that serves youth. It is designed to provide an opportunity for healthy activities and training under good leadership in an atmosphere of healthy community participation. The movement is dedicated to helping children become good and decent citizens. It inspires them with a purpose and enriches their lives until the day they must take their place in the world. It established the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play. After this despicable situation, these words have never been more relevant than they are now.”
