Michigan star Mason Graham hopes to get Miller Moss to throw

.

Mason Graham is a key player in Michigan's defense. Before this Saturday's big game against USC, Graham was asked what Michigan needs to do when the Trojans have the ball. Wolverines Wire has compiled Graham's comments on USC quarterback Miller Moss.

Graham said of Moss: “I just think he does a good job protecting the ball, doing good things, playing in their offense, getting the ball to the playmakers and letting them make plays,” Graham said. “And I just think they've been able to run the ball consistently. So I think we've got to stop them and make them throw the ball and beat us at throwing the ball.”

It's true that if USC can run the ball, Michigan is in big trouble. That might be why Graham is focusing more on run defense than pass defense. However, USC's passing game is very capable. It made the big plays that led to the win over LSU. If Miller Moss throws the ball, that's not a bad thing for USC, provided he gets enough time in the pocket. We'll see if Mason Graham's analysis holds true.
