Milton Police respond to incident at apartment complex | Milton News

MILTON, Ga. – Milton police on Sept. 21 asked the public to avoid a local apartment complex due to “significant police activity.”

The unspecified incident occurred at the IMT Deerfield Apartment Complex at 13125 Morris Road. A message sent to Milton police and the Milton Police Chief was not immediately returned. A dispatcher confirmed officers had responded to an incident in the area.

The police department posted about the incident on Facebook, saying, “There is significant police activity at the Deerfield IMT complex Saturday afternoon. Please stay away from this area.”

Commenters on the Facebook page claimed that police were in a standoff with a local resident.
