Traffic accident on Perry Pasture Road in Dublin, NH – NECN

A teenager is dead and two others were taken by ambulance after a car crashed into a tree in Dublin, New Hampshire, Friday afternoon.

Dublin Police said they were called to the car crash on Perry Pasture Road at around 12:30pm, along with the fire service, after a caller reported that her car had left the road and hit a tree. Two other people were trapped inside the vehicle and unconscious.

Officers responding to the call found the caller – a 16-year-old girl from Peterborough, NH – out of the car and walking around. Two other teenagers were inside the heavily damaged vehicle.

The driver, a 17-year-old boy from Antrim, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The other teenager – a 16-year-old boy from Antrim – was injured and was removed from the vehicle by firefighters.

The two 16-year-old passengers were taken away from the scene of the accident in an ambulance, police said. There was initially no information on the extent of their injuries.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident, but believe that speed may have played a role.
