You'd be forgiven for not knowing that Daniel Dubois went into Saturday's fight against Anthony Joshua as the IBF heavyweight champion of the world. Dubois was the underdog and was treated as the B-side of the fight in almost every way. However, that didn't stop Dubois from dominating Joshua en route to a fifth-round knockout and defending his title.

Dubois dominated proceedings from the first bell. The Brit started as the aggressor, defending himself from the front and constantly hitting the two-time former champion. This strategy paid off early when Dubois sent Joshua to the ground with a left hand in the final seconds of the first frame.

Joshua was faster than the referee but appeared to be on shaky ground. Dubois scored knockdowns in the third and fourth rounds before landing the final knockdown in the fifth round that left Joshua unable to get up.
