23-year-old man arrested for murder in Richmond Hill

A 23-year-old man was arrested following a murder at a Richmond Hill home on Saturday morning.

“There is no danger to the public,” police said in a statement released Saturday afternoon. “Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.”

“The identity of the deceased will not be disclosed until the autopsy is completed and next of kin have been notified,” police added.

The Homicide Unit continues to request assistance in obtaining video surveillance footage in the area of ​​Gracedale Dr., near Shaftsbury Ave. in Richmond Hill, between 5:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. Saturday.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
