2 dead, 1 injured after accident in New Ipswich, NH – Boston News, Weather, Sports

NEW IPSWICH, NH (WHDH) – Two people are dead and a third is hospitalized with serious injuries in a traffic accident early Saturday morning in New Ipswich, New Hampshire.

According to state police, troopers responding to a reported crash at the intersection of Turnpike and Temple Road found a 1996 Honda Del Sol traveling northbound when it collided with a 2015 Dodge Ram.

Devin Lundgren, 21, of New Ipswich, and his passenger, James Barna, 18, of Sharon, were pronounced dead. The driver of the Ram was seriously injured and taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

Although speed appears to play a factor, all aspects of the accident remain under investigation.
