Duke wants to finish the fourth week at MTSU undefeated

Jordan Moore now leads the ACC in receptions (23), receiving yards (306) and both when counting per-game stats. The senior wideout has been impressive in recent years but has had a breakout season this year with a pass-focused offense under OC. Jonathan Brewer and led by the cannon-armed QB Michael Murphy. He will be the primary target not only of Murphy, but of opposing defensive coordinators as well. The attention he draws has increased availability for other receivers, including Eli Pancol And Sean Brown – This is Sean BrownThe latter shone in the last game with 11 pass catches, 87 yards and a touchdown.

Star Thomas had a game last weekend, shortly after the birth of his first child. Duke's running game was mostly stuck in the mud for the first two games of the season before Thomas broke out with 22 carries and 122 yards. To keep the Blue Devils' offense humming like OC Jonathan Brewer If they want to do it, they'll need to establish a capable running game, and it looks like Thomas is the right man for the job at this point in the season. Perhaps more importantly, the offensive line appears to have figured things out and gotten the boost it needs to create gaps for Thomas.

Alex Howard has been inconsistent on Duke's defense so far this year, averaging over nine tackles per game as a WLB since Nick Morris (MLB) was sidelined with injury. The Blue Devils will need the Youngstown State graduate to continue playing at this high level as their defense continues to perform at its best.

Terry Moore as one of the best players in a loaded Duke defensive system last year, but has really taken his role as a free safety to a new level this season. He has both of the team's interceptions and has shown the ability to cover sideline to sideline in Jonathan Patke's system. Expect Moore to continue his excellent play as the year progresses.
