Omaha police have arrested a person for suspected stabbing

Omaha police arrested a person who allegedly stabbed a man Saturday night. The incident occurred just after 6 p.m. near 22nd and Jones Streets. Police were called to the scene and found an adult male with a stab wound. The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition. About three blocks from the scene, police found the suspect and arrested him without incident. The suspect was arrested for aggravated assault and use of a weapon to commit a serious crime. Omaha police arrested a person Saturday night who allegedly stabbed a man to death.

The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. near 22nd and Jones Street.

Police were called to the scene and found an adult man with a stab wound.

The victim was taken to hospital in stable condition.

About three blocks from the crime scene, police found the suspect and arrested him without incident.

The suspect was charged with aggravated assault and use of a weapon to commit a serious crime.
