Moberly Police: Two people arrested after being held against their will Friday afternoon

MOBERLY, Missouri (KMIZ)

A man and a woman were arrested after someone was allegedly held against his will in Moberly Friday afternoon, Moberly police said.

According to a department press release, police received a call at 1:30 p.m. Friday that a family member was being held against his will. Police and the North Missouri Drug Task Force investigated and were able to determine the victim's whereabouts.

The Moberly SWAT team and the North Missouri Drug Task Force rescued the victim.

The press release states that a 37-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were arrested.

According to the press release, Moberly Police detectives found evidence in a residential home after executing a search warrant.
