Anime “Murder Mystery of the Dead” announced with premiere on November 13th

Crime Mystery of the Dead is getting an anime adaptation based on the Japanese crime party game of the same name by Cosaic and Group SNE. The anime premiere is scheduled for November 13th on ABC Animation (The maid I recently hired is mysterious) and Balus join forces to animate it.

Tomohiro Ishii is directing, Ryo Kawakami (also known as Giggle Akiguchi) is in charge of series composition, and Teren Mikami is writing the screenplay. Details of the main cast were also announced, including:

• Tsubaki Makino as Lily Aramaki
• Kiyono Yasuno as Yu Kodama

The Crime Mystery of the Dead Released in April 2021, the board game is an experience-based mystery game where players become one of the characters and delve into mysteries such as murder cases. Players cooperate with each other and sometimes even clash as characters to investigate the case.

The escape room version of the party game, hosted by Rabbit Hole, places players in a civilization crumbling due to an uncontrollable zombie epidemic. One day, a mysterious figure in a white coat comes to a survivor camp and declares they have found an antibody that could stop the spread of the infection. Shortly after, he is found dead. Meanwhile, attacks by fanatical “zombie believers” increase, rumors of a deranged strangler spread, and survivors begin mysteriously disappearing.
