Community First Fox Cities Marathon canceled due to weather

The Community First Fox Cities Marathon presented by Miron Construction has been cancelled.

The organizers announced this on social media early Sunday morning.

“Due to the thunderstorms, lightning and heavy rain forecast for the first few hours of the course, we regret to announce that the marathon, half marathon and relay marathon scheduled for Sunday 22 September must be cancelled for the safety of all runners, volunteers, public service employees and spectators,” the statement said.

Participants will receive further information by email.
