A woman died after an accident on Saturday evening

The Greenville County Coroner's Office and Greer City Police responded to a crash at 9 p.m. Saturday on Country Club Road at Burnett Drive in Greer. We're told a Chevrolet Express 3500 van traveling eastbound left the road and struck a tree. A representative from the coroner's office said the female passenger in the front seat was not wearing a seat belt. She died at the scene. An outside investigation is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 23.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office and Greer City Police responded to a crash at 9 p.m. Saturday on Country Club Road at Burnett Drive in Greer.

We were informed that an eastbound Chevrolet Express 3500 van left the road and struck a tree.

A representative of the coroner said the passenger in the front seat was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene of the accident.

An external examination is scheduled for Monday, September 23rd.
