One year ago today (September 22, 2023) … Woman arrested for stabbing murder of Hemet mother

One year ago today (September 22, 2023) … a 27-year-old woman was in custody in connection with the stabbing death of a mother of three in Hemet.

Hemet Police detectives issued a search warrant for the suspect early Friday.

“During the execution of the warrant, investigators located Autumn Goodwin, a resident of Hemet. Goodwin was subsequently arrested for the murder, which occurred in the 1000 block of South Gilbert,” the department said in a statement.
