Chargers Steelers Inactive Players Week 3 2024

The Chargers have announced their inactive players for Week 3.

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is active despite dealing with a severe ankle sprain.

Herbert did not practice Wednesday and Friday and was limited Thursday. He was injured midway through the third quarter in Week 2 against Carolina.

While Herbert will play, wide receiver Joshua Palmer is inactive. He is battling knee and elbow injuries. Rookie Brenden Rice is active for the first time this season.

Linebacker Junior Colson will also not play after missing Friday with a hamstring injury. Offensive lineman Jordan McFadden is also unavailable.

The Chargers' three-four rookies – Kimani Vidal, Tarheeb Still and Justin Eboigbe – are inactive for the second week in a row.

The following players will not play against the Steelers:
