They added that the police also seized a bicycle from the accused, who are identified as Jatin Sidhu of Valmiki Mohalla and Krish Arora of Preet Nagar in New Shivpuri.

According to the authorities, the defendants are salespeople in two different clothing stores.

According to police, the accused smuggled drugs into the city over a long period of time.

Inspector-in-charge of CIA Staff 2 Rajesh Sharma said the police arrested the accused, Jatin Sidhu, from New Madhopuri based on a tip-off.

The defendant was about to deliver a shipment of heroin to addicts when he was caught. During a search, the police seized 100 grams of heroin.

The inspector added that during questioning, Jatin Sidhu told the police that he had procured heroin from smugglers in other districts.

He claimed that he had implicated Krish Arora in supplying drugs to the addicts. Based on the information he provided, Arora was arrested by the police.

A First Information Report (FIR) under sections 21, 29, 61 and 85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act was registered at Daresi police station, adding that more important information was expected from the accused during questioning.
