Browns show lousy pass defense, defense fails against Giants – Terry Pluto's halftime doodles

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Doodles in my halftime notebook when the Giants led the Browns 21-7:

1. I've often criticized Deshaun Watson for holding onto the ball too long and/or jumping into QB sacks. That wasn't the problem in the first half on Sunday. The Browns' offensive line did a terrible job protecting the QB. Most of the offense came straight down the middle. Center Ethan Pocic had a rough game. Right tackle Dawand Jones also had some problems.
