76-year-old woman killed in head-on collision in Johnson County, Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Missouri — A 76-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision in Johnson County, Missouri, Saturday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report.

According to MSHP, the accident occurred near Missouri 23 and SE 725th Road.

Investigators found that a 2017 Ford Explorer crossed the center of the roadway and collided head-on with a 2004 Dodge Ram.

The driver of the Ford, a 76-year-old woman from Windsor, Missouri, died at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the Dodge, a 34-year-old woman from Lincoln, Missouri, suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to a nearby hospital, according to MSHP.
