Los Angeles Chargers promote Shaquille Quarterman

The Los Angeles Chargers promoted a linebacker today Shaquille Quarterman from the training team for the game on Sunday.

A fourth-round pick out of Jacksonville in 2020, Quarterman appeared in 67 total games (65 in the regular season, two in the postseason), including the two wins this year with the Bolts. Over his career, Quarterman recorded 29 total tackles (16 solo), one tackle for loss, one forced fumble and 26 special teams tackles in the regular season, while also adding a defensive stop in the playoffs. He played four seasons (2016-19) at the collegiate level at Miami, appearing in 52 games for the Hurricanes and recording 292 tackles (182 solo), 13.0 sacks, one interception, 13 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and five recoveries. Quarterman was named first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference in 2018 and second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference in 2017.
