“That cost me £150 million!” … Tyson Fury makes Conor McGregor laugh after Anthony Joshua’s KO defeat

Tyson Fury sent Conor McGregor into hysterics at ringside after watching one of the biggest fights of his life go up in smoke.

The two-time heavyweight boxing world champion was in London last night to watch his long-time rival Anthony Joshua's record-breaking showdown with Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium. Fans have been calling for a fight between him and Joshua for years and it seemed closer than ever.

Fury is currently preparing for a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk in December, with the winner expected to unify the division with last night's victor. But despite hopes that such a fight would be Fury vs. Joshua, Dubois derailed the plans with a devastating fifth-round knockout.

Daniel Dubois brutally knocks out Anthony Joshua in massive heavyweight title fight

The eyes of the boxing world were on Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua last night as the pair filled Wembley Stadium in London with over 98,000 fans. The hard-hitting heavyweights battled it out for the former's IBF title, which he won on a technicality after the belt was stripped.

Pundits and fans tended to see Joshua as the favorite, and the bookies' odds were largely on his side, but Dubois sprinted off the starting ramp and landed heavy punches early on, causing serious problems for the two-time world champion.

He knocked Joshua down at the end of the first round and it seemed as though his rival never fully recovered as the punches seemed to land at will. He went down again in the third and fourth rounds before launching a major comeback in the fifth round.

However, this comeback left him vulnerable to a counterattack and Dubois was able to finish the fight with one of the heaviest punches in recent memory. The victory establishes the young Brit as one of the best heavyweights in the world after he seemed down following his loss to Usyk this time last year.

Among the more than 98,000 attendees were a number of celebrities and athletes, most notably fellow heavyweights Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. The duo will face each other again in December after a thrilling fight in May ended in a controversial decision.

Fury and Joshua are set to have one of the biggest fights in boxing, with the British duo locked in a feud that has spanned over a decade, but after Joshua suffered his fourth defeat in such brutal fashion, it seems any hope of such a fight is over.

Fury sat ringside next to UFC legend Conor McGregor, who chuckled as the giant heavyweight expressed his dissatisfaction with the result. Fury was filmed speaking to his manager Spencer Brown and trying to get the attention of promoter Turki Alalsheikh.

“Listen, that cost me £150 million, the stupid bitch,” Fury told Brown, who insisted the fight was still salvageable. “Of course he did, he's screwed. Turki, you better pay me now!”
